Forcello archeological museum
Bagnolo San Vito, Italy
The architecture of the Archeological Museum is purpose-designed with lightweight constructions and shallow foundations due to the archaeological finds located in the area. The use of wood allows for load reduction and makes the huts easy to move as the excavation work shifts. The linear composition of the system is inspired by the Euclidean geometry of the archaeological site. Simple colours and volumes blend silently into the landscape.
