Wiesenstrasse Schlieren

This feasibility study evaluates the potential of a central site near the train station in Schlieren, a town located in the Limmattal river valley in the canton of Zurich . The proposed solution recommends refurbishing an existing ‘80s-era office block, cladding it in an updated façade , and pairing its horizontal massing with a striking new tower. The façades of the old and new volumes are visually linked through a common design language; together, they form a well-balanced, cohesive, and inviting ensemble.
