Groundform 15
This metro station is conceived as a monolithic underground space built entirely from rammed earth. Massive earthen columns and walls form a calm, rhythmic interior, their layered texture revealing the natural stratification of compacted soil. Warm natural tones, diffused ceiling light, and a geometric patterned floor create a grounded yet contemporary atmosphere. Beyond its tactile beauty, the rammed earth provides thermal mass, acoustic softness, and environmental stability—transforming everyday transit into a serene, civic spatial experience.
