”STAY Tamanoyu” is a long-term stay accommodation facility by Yufuin Tamanoyu, a hot spring inn in Yufuin, Oita Prefecture.
Based on the concept of “traveling as if you were living in a house” the building is not a symbolic structure with a strong presence, but rather a village of small houses nestled together on a scale that blends in with the surrounding landscape.
