This building was introduced as a new efficient research facility, a product of the deployment of an optimal, rational, complete and structured system enhancing the institutional and symbolic character of these types of buildings, which are lack today. The building features a rectangular volume covering three floors (two above ground), pursuing topographical optimization, emphasizing the finest visual elements and maximising the use of natural light. Inside, it houses today’s most advanced technologies, including a surgical wing with space for 36 operating rooms.
