Temple of The Columns
Naoshima Island, Japan
A temple for all cults that allows people to be amazed and astonished, thus putting the soul in a state of deep calm and understanding.
Everyone can, in their own way, get in touch with their deepest self and rediscover phenomenology through events.
Nine columns rise from a pool of water to represent the human presence on earth, a calm hypogeal logo enclosed by a wooden grid hosts four crosses that seem to want to embrace each other; here, everyone can, in their own way, get closer to spirituality and the depths of their soul.
