Residential Estate Im Park

Three new buildings complement the existing parish houses and extend the already high-quality open space. The triangular area between Forchstrasse and Meilenerstrasse becomes a threshold, hinge, and connecting element all at once. The site mediates between the growing settlement structure and the open spaces of the former farming village. A striking north–south transition emerges—from the dense village center to the more loosely built Zelgmatt quarter. East–west, it links the green spaces of the school and church with the agricultural land stretching toward the Pfannenstiel. Access to the settlement is provided exclusively via a central courtyard, which functions as a semi-public communal space. All buildings face this courtyard with their entrances, making it the unifying and identity-forming heart of the development. The result is living in a park—among trees, light, and open space. The planting creates natural thresholds between private retreats and shared open space.
