Cooperative Garden
Tokyo, Japan
This building is a cooperative housing complex for 8 families. The site has a very rare condition of having an attractive external environment, which is not typical for a place located in the middle of Tokyo and being very close to the station like this site. We vertically piled up 8 different houses and gardens resembling each floor as a unique site. Each garden has its characteristics to enhance each residents lifestyle and the garden continues to the common elevator, stairs, and the large void vertically.
