Hospice, Stiftung Marien-Hospital
Euskirchen, Germany
After our experience in the health sector the new hospice building in 2011 was something like the ultimate. The sponsors wanted a hospice that offers dying people a place of kindness where they can spend the last part of their lives in dignity and a feeling of security. A place where they can feel comfortable, which allows proximity to other people in a homely atmosphere but provides privacy too. A carefully selected colour concept, pleasant materials and shapes ensure a life affirming, positive atmosphere, where residents, their relatives and staff feel comfortable.
