The Circle at Zurich Airport

As part of an interdisciplinary team, sa_partners was commissioned to prepare the test planning for the development of the Circle at Zurich Airport into a new urban district with international character. sa_partners was responsible for urban design and planning and tested a novel mix of uses in its design, taking into account traffic, environment, economy, architecture, urban planning and process design. Under the leadership of sa_partners, the findings of the test planning flowed into a binding masterplan and defined the framework conditions for the subsequent architectural competition.
