Sophie Frank gained experience in the offices of international architects such as Eric Owen Moss in Los Angeles, S.O.M. in New York, and Peter Zumthor in Haldenstein.

After sailing around the world, Sophie Frank founded her own office in Stuttgart in 2017. Since then, she has been working as a freelance architect for building owners, providing services ranging from needs assessment to construction management. Her services include all classic tasks: conversion, extension, new construction.

Sophie Frank has developed a particular fondness for the conversion of existing properties. The challenge of transforming even unsuccessful architecture into something new and good is the driving force and inspiration behind her work. At the same time, this approach is an expression of future-oriented, ecological architecture.

Her life experience and changing perspectives on social contexts allow Sophie Frank to think freely and help her understand the living environments of builders, collaborate with craftsmen, and develop suitable solutions.
