Alt Penedès Hospital
The hospital, completed in 1994, has 168 beds. Since 2005, the original facility has been extended several times. The first intervention was to the outpatients’ department, with the addition of a day hospital. This was followed by a new county-level laboratory, and later by the extension and retrofitting of the emergency department, day surgery and obstetrics unity.
