Farol Housing - Praia Barra

Near of the highest lighthouse of the Iberian Peninsula, the building articulates two solids over a commercial floor. Each side resolves its relation with the site in different manners: for the Square the solution is to maximize natural light by designing bay windows allowing sun and vistas to come inside. For the street the building seeks privacy. Most of the apartments are double bedrooms type. Living spaces confronts the street and intimate ones looks backwards.
