Pierre Hermé Paris Flagship Store, Singapore

Singapore

For Pierre Hermé, pastry is more than food — it's emotion, architecture, and art. Every creation builds a world of flavor, and the Singapore flagship store turns that vision into space.

CCD's design for Pierre Hermé Singapore embraces the spirit of localization. Rather than replicating the Paris boutique, it blends the refinement of French patisserie with Singapore's tropical vitality — a dialogue between elegance and exuberance, art and nature.

The entrance sets the tone with a fusion of Parisian street café and tropical garden. Macaron sculptures glimmer among lush greenery, like sweet fruits peeking through the leaves — a poetic nod to the brand's signature creation, rooted in the island's natural charm.

Inside, bold contrasts of color and texture awaken emotion. Smooth and rough surfaces play in harmony, creating a tactile rhythm that mirrors Pierre Hermé's desserts — refined in form, daring in flavor.

The layout unfolds through gentle curves and layers of sweetness. Cakes, pastries, and breads are displayed with artful precision along a curved counter, while a central circular counter celebrates Pierre Hermé's icons — macarons, chocolates, and French cakes — each one a masterpiece of taste and design.

Every detail embodies Pierre Hermé's passion for innovation. Just as he reinvents flavors with the seasons, the space evolves too — adapting to new themes and moods, keeping the experience ever fresh, ever inspiring.

From the moment guests are seated to the crafting and tasting of each dessert, every step is choreographed like an interlinked act in a theatrical performance. Everyone in the store becomes part of this culinary stage of experience.

From signage and graphic design to spatial layout and lighting, every detail is meticulously composed. This precision mirrors Pierre Hermé's own approach to pastry-making — selecting each ingredient with care and crafting every creation with discipline and artistry.
Natural wood furnishings and warm lighting bring a sense of calm and comfort. The soft glow highlights the vivid colors of the desserts, while the contrast between wood's raw texture and the delicacy of pastry adds a subtle depth to the space.

In response to sustainability principles, the store introduces cloth packaging, combining eco-consciousness and gift-worthy elegance. This blend of Eastern tradition and Western confectionery reflects the brand's cultural sensitivity within a global context.

Pierre Hermé Singapore is not merely a boutique for fine pastries — it is a curated world of haute pâtisserie, a place of joy, creativity, and sensory delight.

Here, every visit becomes a journey guided by one simple philosophy: Let pleasure be your only compass.

Pleasure as the Only Guide
Into the Art of Haute Pâtisserie

The second-floor area unites savory and sweet creations under one philosophy — a living expression of Pierre Hermé's words: Savory for nourishment, sweet for pleasure.

Here, Pierre Hermé's world-first ice cream and bubble tea bar brings French artistry and Asian charm into playful harmony. Every sip creates a joyful fusion, where pure enjoyment is the only rule.

The dining area welcomes with an airy, light-filled atmosphere. The design responds gracefully to Singapore's tropical climate. Custom rattan furniture, with delicate weaves and gentle curves, offers a sense of visual coolness, while its sustainable and tactile nature evokes the feeling of a soft breeze in a tropical garden.

The color palette is rooted in natural wood tones, complemented by muted macaron hues — blush pinks, soft beiges, and creamy whites. These shades echo Hermé's iconic Ispahan dessert, where rose, lychee, and raspberry mingle in a delicate gradient of flavor and color.

The spatial rhythm unfolds through elegant curves and flowing lines. One side opens to a serene tea salon; the other reveals relaxed seating with views of lush greenery. Whether for an intimate conversation or a cheerful gathering, every corner offers the perfect setting to begin a sensory-led journey of pleasure.

Light becomes the final storyteller. Soft amber tones intertwine with daylight streaming through large windows, illuminating the pastries’ delicate hues. As the sun moves across the sky, shifting shadows dance through the space — turning the interior itself into a living, breathing work of art.

Every touch and note, from custom tableware to subtle background music, reinforces the immersive pleasure of haute pâtisserie.

More than a place to dine, this is a curated world of delight, creativity, and tropical imagination.

Here, expectations melt away, and the senses take the lead — wandering through forms, light, and color, engaging in an intimate dialogue with beauty, dessert, and the very essence of space.
