Riverfront Santa Coloma de Gramenet

The project includes three housing blocks and new public spaces to open the town up to the riverfront. The recovery of the river Besòs marked the start of a major transformation process in the municipality. The buildings create visual continuities between the new riverfront and the existing urban fabric. All new dwellings aim to create optimum conditions of sunlight and views, with a thick façade that is seen as a living space, providing efficient storage areas and interposing a filter between interior and exterior.
