Travel time for the modernized 350-kilometer (220-mile), $2.89 billion (€2.46 billion) railroad between the capital cities of Belgrade, Serbia and Budapest, Hungary, which was built as part of China's Belt and Road Initiative and opened on February 27: 3 hour 30 minutes (versus the previous 8 hours)
